I've been the fractional Technical Product Manager for The Podcast Fellowship since 2021. TPF is a non-profit that pays students to listen to educational podcasts, pretty cool mission. I oversee their offshore dev team and manage the web application that runs the whole program.
My role is different from my usual email marketing and CRM work. I handle technical architecture decisions, prioritize the product roadmap, and translate between the non-technical nonprofit leadership and the development team. I guide frontend development, optimize user experience, and make sure the platform stays reliable as the program grows. It's been a great experience managing a consumer web app outside my typical marketing technology wheelhouse.
